Our client is an established mid-market ($.5 to $1B) public manufacturer of packaging material sold into industrial, aerospace, automotive, and consumer markets. In addition, they produce engineered films for construction, environmental, and agricultural industries. The company is well established in its markets with a broad product line and solid reputation. The company is moving to more value added products. They have multiple manufacturing sites and nearly 2000 employees.
The CFO will work with senior management and the directors of the company to develop and plan the goals, objectives, and strategies of the company. The CFO, reporting to the CEO, will execute these plans with discipline and on a proactive basis in order to rise above crisis management. He/she will maintain a process of identifying, measuring, accumulating, analyzing, preparing, interpreting, and communicating the financial information to evaluate and control the company’s resources. The CFO will partner with senior management, outside auditors, the board of directors, the audit committee, corporate counsel, and financial institutions. Reporting to the CFO will be Tax & Treasury, Information Systems, FP&A, administration, customer financial services, and the corporate and manufacturing controllers.
Qualified candidates must have a BS Accounting or Finance and MBA, as well as 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with a manufacturing company. Addition requirements include:
- Public company reporting experience
- CPA, CMA, or CA
- Experience managing the entire spectrum of finance and accounting in a manufacturing environment including budgeting, accounting, and information systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player/developer
- Excellent communication skills, leadership, and coaching
- Ability to successfully interface with shareholders, financial institutions, and auditors
- Well-developed problem-solving skills, technical and negotiation skills
- Tax and treasury experience
- High level of integrity, dependability, and collaboration with a sense of urgency
- Ability to exceed in fast-paced environment
- International experience desired
Base compensation is in the $275K - $325K range, plus up to 100% bonus opportunity. Client offers an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment in a very pleasant setting. Competitive benefits are offered.
