Alan has been a leader in the Security Industry for over 23 years. Starting in Physical Security as a Close-Protection Specialist, Alan quickly moved into Operations Management, Sales and Sales-Management and completed the life cycle as the highly respected owner of SSI - Security Systems Integration, headquartered in Atlanta Georgia. As President of SSI, Alan’s company successfully installed and maintained enterprise security systems for clients such as: Federal Express, MARTA (Metro-Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital, PCA-Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport and Six Flags over Georgia. After the acquisition of SSI was complete, Alan’s focus in security shifted to management consulting and talent acquisition where he could help connect great companies with great talent.
In 2006, Alan joined The Richmond Group USA, as the Director of the Security Technology Division. The Richmond Group USA is a 43 year member of the world’s largest global executive search network MRI – Management Recruiters International. Alan was tasked with establishing and growing, the new security industry practice for The Richmond Group USA. And over the next four years, Alan established and led one of the most successful security search practices in the United States. During his tenure as Director, Alan was awarded one of the recruiting industry’s highest recognitions as “Pacesetter” four consecutive years.
Alan’s broad range of knowledge and expertise in the security field are the very things that his clients seek to assist them in managing their complete staffing needs. It is his background and proven track record that allow Alan to lead the field in executive search. Alan has consulted with security manufacturers and integrators to acquire top talent in the following areas: direct sales and sales leadership, business development, engineering, product development, operations and executive management.
In December of 2010, Alan joined The Beneva Group as Executive Director, where he will continue to lead and grow one of the industry’s most successful security practices. The Beneva Group is a highly recognized member of the global MRI Network headquartered in Sarasota, FL. Founded in 1999, The Beneva Group has established themselves as a leader in executive search focused on operational excellence, lean six-sigma, executive leadership, specialty chemicals and plastics.
